{"id":2914,"date":"2019-05-16T18:16:30","date_gmt":"2019-05-16T16:16:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.monfraguelandscape.com\/entorno\/"},"modified":"2020-01-17T18:50:11","modified_gmt":"2020-01-17T17:50:11","slug":"environment","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.ecoturismomonfrague.com\/en\/environment\/","title":{"rendered":"Environment"},"content":{"rendered":"<section class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1559299616088{margin: 0px !important;}&#8221;][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p><strong>Monfrag\u00fce National Park<\/strong>\u00a0is the best representation of the\u00a0<strong>Mediterranean Woodland<\/strong>\u00a0in\u00a0<strong>Europe<\/strong>, internationally recognized sanctuary for observing birds, especially raptors, as the largest colony of\u00a0<strong>Black Vulture<\/strong>\u00a0of the world and important representations of\u00a0<strong>Spanish Imperial Eagle<\/strong>, Booted Eagle, Short-toed Eagle, Griffon Vulture, Peregrine Falcon, Black Winged Kite, Eurasian Eagle- Owl,\u00a0<strong>Bee-eater<\/strong>, Kingfisher\u2026 In addition to a strong presence of the elusive\u00a0<strong>Black Stork.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Recognised as Natural Park in 1979, and later on as a\u00a0<strong>National Park<\/strong>\u00a0in 2007,\u00a0<strong>Special Protection Area for Birds<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Site of Community Importance for Europe and Biosphere Reserve<\/strong>\u00a0by the Unesco offers now thanks to Monfrag\u00fce Landscape, the privilege of knowing unexplored corners for tourism, never before visited.
